I was surprised by the short running time of the film. Constantly ducks away from any semblance of adult sexuality, indulging in garish colors and giggle fits. For a Good Time, Call... offers an enjoyable, if ultimately forgettable, 90 minutes.

There's some funny cameos from Seth Roger, Kevin Smith, and Nia Vardalos, though they aren't enough to make up for everything else. It’s an uncomfortable dynamic and the filmmakers made an even stranger choice in playing it ambiguously.

It celebrates female friendship in a way few movies do, but good intentions don't always make for a good film.
