For me, this lack of care (or budget) for visuals is what hurt this movie the most, making the world unappealing and dull.This is not a horrible movie, plot holds up, acting is ok, and while most elements are mediocre or sub-par, non are outright bad. OX is great at magic, and his best trick is turning your stuff into his stuff. The eccentrically macabre family moves to a bland suburb where Wednesday Addams' friendship with the daughter of a hostile and conformist local reality show host exacerbates conflict between the families. His main concern is making sure the other Uglydolls are safe, but he's also always on the lookout for a party. OX is the mayor of Uglyville and the former friend of the main antagonist, Lou.
